We start on foot in Sydney's oldest neighbourhood, wandering the sandstone laneways and stopping at the buildings that matter. Your guide tells the story of Australia's first European settlement: the convicts, the traders, and the characters who built a city from the edge of the world.

A short walk around the harbour brings you to Bennelong Point. Beyond the postcard, the Opera House is an architectural wonder with a story as dramatic as its silhouette, and we take you around it on foot, uncovering its design secrets, its troubled construction, and the harbour views no photograph quite does justice.
Mrs Macquarie's Chair
The Postcard Shot
Carved into the sandstone by convicts in 1810 for the wife of Governor Lachlan Macquarie, this is the single best vantage point in the city. From here the Opera House and the Harbour Bridge line up in one frame, and it is the photograph most guests take home with them.

From the harbour we drive east towards the coast, through some of the most affluent suburbs in the country. Harbourfront mansions, quiet bays, and leafy streets that almost no visitor sees, with your guide filling in the stories behind them along the way.

There's a reason the whole world knows the name. The sweep of white sand, the rolling surf, the easy coastal energy that defines Sydney at its best. Time to walk the beach and take in the scene, and if the day calls for it, lunch at Bondi Pavilion looking straight out over the water.
Manly & North Head
The Other Side of Sydney
The alternative to lunch at Bondi is to keep going north to Manly, where Felons Brewing Co on the wharf is the one we point people to. Either way the afternoon ends up here, and from Manly it is a short climb to North Head: the Pacific stretching out on one side, the whole harbour and the city skyline on the other.

Lunch can be at Bondi Pavilion or over at Felons in Manly, you can linger longer somewhere you love, and anything that doesn't appeal can simply be skipped. As long as it fits the day, we will make it happen.

Cancellations made 10 days or more before the tour are refunded in full. Between 10 days and 48 hours before, you can take a 50% refund or move to another date at no charge. Inside 48 hours the booking is not refundable, though we may still be able to offer you another date. If we cancel for weather or safety, the choice is yours: reschedule, or a full refund.
Yes, pickup and drop-off from hotels or cruise terminals in central Sydney is included. Just let us know your location when booking and we will coordinate the timing.
