Outstanding & Strongest Possible Recommendation!

Outstanding & Strongest Possible Recommendation!  Led by our intrepid tour guide Sam, who was engaging, knowledgeable and full of good cheer (with surprisingly compatible musical tastes and excellent snack options), this day underscored why the 18 hours of flying time from the US, with two elementary school children in tow, was well worth the effort.  From pickup to drop-off and everything in between, Sam seamlessly delivered a day full of insight, fun & adventure that roared past expectations and left everyone in the group, from those learning multiplication tables to those enrolling in Medicare, entertained and enriched.  Feeding joeys, admiring wombats, exploring the blue mountains, dipping limbs in a spectacular waterfall, sipping carefully crafted coffee in an unassuming cafe, learning the history of the region and being regaled by stories of car keys spilling over a sheer cliff (which captivated our daughter to no end) were all on the agenda.   All done at a relaxed pace, in a clean comfortable vehicle, and with a flexibility that accommodate the whims of a disparate and experienced group of international travelers.  If you find yourself in Sydney, book with Sam from Australian Adventure Company!

George: The Blue Mountain Tour was one of the best tours I have ever been on. Sam, our tour guide offered snacks and beverages was extremely informative and organized. He personalized the the day with what we would like to do (including what music we wanted to hear). Our day was filled with fun, laughter, beautiful vistas and experiences (like feeding kangaroos, seeing koalas, riding the steepest cable car, beautiful walks, and dining with mountain views).

Steve: We had 4 people in our group, and Sam picked us up at the front of our hotel. Our full day tour included a stop at Wild Life Sydney Zoo, which has just about every animal you would hope to see while in Austrailia. We stopped at a few beautiful overlooks, which Sam knew about, but were not full of other tourists. He also took us to the Blue Mountains, we were able to visit Scenic World and enjoy the great scenery there. Sam was very knowledgeable about the area and the history. Sam's personality made it seem as though he was part of your family. He went out of his way to make sure we had a great time, including bringing along water and beer for our day. His van was comfortable and his recommendation for a pub for lunch and a drink was excellent. What we were able to do in one day was incredible. This was time and money well spent. Not only did we get to see some exciting scenery, but had fun the whole day. I can't say enough good things about Sam, and wish him the best. My wife and I are from the US, our friends that set up this tour were from Perth, and we all loved this tour.

Great tour, great time, Sam knows his business

Sam Josephson's company, The Australian Adventure Co, provides a wonderful guided trip into the Blue Mountains. Sam will help you choose a hike, or two. Short or long, all are beautiful. If you are interested, Sam will relate stories of Australian history in general, and of this area in particular. Sam may tell Siri to play a moving anthem, "I am Australian." If you listen, you will hear this proud Australian singing along.

Hire Sam! You will remember the trip as a highlight of Australia.
